You Si

Fifty-five year-old You Si uses an eyedropper to catalog a vast new cross-section of life, the quivering sort found under the floorboards of Willy Wonka's chemical shed.

With a patience to rival mountain ranges, the Beijing native calmly creates landscapes that invert the limits of body horror for a higher truth: Life is lurid and often disgusting, but there is wonder in all this muck.
